Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has increased the bounty for information about his vanished pet named Halo to $$20k.

The former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, mentioned that the beagle was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.

The beagle, who went missing on October 9th, was equipped with a GPS collar, and Ramsey posted a exact coordinates of where she was last seen.

"Any updates about our beloved Halo kindly contact us. Big incentive for reuniting with her. We are all praying she is unharmed and comes home to our family quickly," the athlete posted on Instagram.

Initial Bounty and Heartfelt Appeals

Ramsey initially disclosed that his dog had disappeared 14 days prior and has since shared several pictures of the beloved pet on Instagram.

A £7.5k reward was originally provided, but with no news on the dog's status after a week, Ramsey and his family increased the amount.

"We just want our girl returned," he expressed in an additional appeal on his online platforms after the decade-old dog was lost.

The latest photograph post is a monochrome snapshot of Halo napping, her head lying in the crook of Ramsey's elbow, with the caption: "What I wouldn't give to cuddle you once more sweet Halo."

Household's Concerns and Background

The footballer has also circulated a note from his spouse Colleen on online channels indicating they have some "serious questions" about the incident and fear the family "could possibly not receive explanations".

"We have yet to haven't found Halo. I don't think we will ever," the spouse's update expressed.

The Wales captain joined Mexican premier club Pumas UNAM recently and had his first appearance in the Mexican league in the eighth month.

Originally from Caerphilly athlete is the first well-known British Isles player to participate in the Mexico's top division.
