The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in influence within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the main group to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then settled his debts and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the region and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could assist the party reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This means them little choice but to travel to the remote area in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the players to form the Questers and Strategists tables.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
